DTF Gang Sheet Builder for WooCommerce: WordPress Plugin Setup Guide

Step-by-step setup

Step 1 — Download the DTFGSA WooCommerce plugin

Get the plugin ZIP from dtfgangsheetapp.com/downloads/dtfgsa-woocommerce.zip. The plugin is a standard WordPress .zip — no compilation or build step required.

Step 2 — Install the plugin in WordPress

1. WordPress admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
2. Choose the dtfgsa-woocommerce.zip file
3. Click Install Now → Activate Plugin

Once activated, you'll see a new menu item "DTFGSA" in the WordPress admin sidebar.

Step 3 — Connect to your DTFGSA account

1. WordPress admin → DTFGSA → Settings
2. Click "Connect DTFGSA Account"
3. Sign in with your DTFGSA credentials (or create a free account)
4. Authorize the plugin to access your DTFGSA dashboard

This connection lets the plugin sync orders, retrieve production files, and pass cart events back to DTFGSA.

Step 4 — Create the gang sheet product

1. WordPress admin → Products → Add New
2. Title: "Custom DTF Gang Sheet" (or your preferred name)
3. Product type: Simple Product (the plugin handles dynamic pricing internally)
4. Set a base price ($0.15 if at-cost, or your retail markup)
5. In the "Product Data" panel, look for the new "DTFGSA Builder" tab
6. Toggle "Enable DTFGSA Builder for this product"
7. Save and publish

The product page will now display the DTFGSA gang sheet builder above (or replacing) the standard "Add to Cart" button.

Step 5 — Configure pricing rules

WordPress admin → DTFGSA → Pricing. Set:

• Per-sheet retail price — what your customer pays
• Bulk discount tiers — e.g., 10% off at 5+ sheets, 15% off at 10+ sheets
• Rush order options — paid upgrades for faster turnaround
• Tax handling — uses WooCommerce tax settings by default

The DTFGSA per-sheet cost ($0.15) is your wholesale rate. The retail price you set is what the customer sees.

Step 6 — Test the customer flow

Visit the new product page on your store. The flow should be:

1. Customer lands on product page
2. DTFGSA builder loads (typically <2 seconds on broadband)
3. Customer drags in artwork or uploads via file picker
4. AI auto-nests in <1 second; sheet preview updates in real-time
5. Customer adjusts (rotates, scales, duplicates) as desired
6. Click "Add to Cart" — adds the gang sheet with correct price
7. Standard WooCommerce cart and checkout
8. After payment, the RIP-ready file appears in your DTFGSA dashboard within ~30 seconds

Step 7 — Verify the order webhook

The plugin auto-registers a webhook when you connected your account in Step 3. Verify it's working:

1. WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Webhooks
2. Find the "DTFGSA Order Sync" webhook (auto-created)
3. Status should be "Active"

If status is "Disabled" or missing, click "Add Webhook" and configure manually with: Topic = "Order Updated", Delivery URL = "https://api.dtfgangsheetapp.com/webhooks/woocommerce/order".

Customizing the builder appearance

The plugin inherits your WooCommerce theme styles by default. To customize further:

• Colors: WordPress admin → DTFGSA → Appearance → set primary brand color, button styles
• Position: Replace standard product gallery, append after, or use a custom shortcode [dtfgsa_builder] anywhere in your theme
• Logo: Upload your shop logo to display in the builder header
• Custom CSS: Add CSS overrides via the plugin's theme override panel

Multilingual / WPML support

The DTFGSA WooCommerce plugin supports WPML and Polylang. The builder UI auto-detects WordPress's current locale and serves the appropriate language. Currently supported: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Polish.

Common WooCommerce plugin issues

Plugin won't activate (white screen)

Usually a PHP version mismatch. The plugin requires PHP 7.4+. Check your hosting panel — if you're on PHP 7.0 or lower, upgrade. Most hosts let you change PHP version with one click.

Builder loads but doesn't add to cart

Check that the WooCommerce REST API is enabled (Settings → Advanced → REST API). The plugin uses the REST API to add custom-priced gang sheets to the cart.

Orders not appearing in DTFGSA dashboard

Webhook delivery issue. WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Webhooks → DTFGSA Order Sync → Delivery Log. Look for failed deliveries (red rows) and click to see the error response.

Production files generating slowly

Large gang sheets (100+ designs) can take 30–60 seconds to generate the final RIP-ready file. This is normal — the AI nester runs additional optimization passes for very dense sheets. Smaller sheets generate in <5 seconds.

WooCommerce vs Shopify for DTF

Both platforms work with DTFGSA. Differences:
